Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) and speech goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to support each student’s progress
- Support students’ communication skills—in both academic and social settings—at both assigned locations
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights on speech and language development
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed throughout the academic year
