Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current, active CTC credential required
  • Previous experience working in school settings, especially with middle school populations
  • Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for speech and language disorders
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Comfortable working exclusively onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 6–8
  • Complete assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
  • Track student progress and maintain detailed, compliant documentation
  • Communicate findings, strategies, and student needs to faculty and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource to teachers and administration
  • Facilitate a positive, inclusive environment for student growth
