As a travel SLP, you’ll broaden your clinical expertise by collaborating with education professionals from diverse backgrounds, enhancing your leadership skills, and expanding your resume with valuable hands-on experience serving a dynamic student population.

Assignment Details:

  • Length: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Schedule: 3 days per week, 6.5 hours per day
  • Location: Single site supporting pre-K to 8th-grade students
  • Caseload: Case manager for 6 speech-only students and direct services for approximately 29 students

Key Qualifications:

  • Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification required
  • Valid state licensure in California (or eligibility)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to supporting students’ communication and educational success

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and intervention for PK-8th grade students
  • Serve as case manager for a small group of speech-only students
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, communicate with families and staff, and support a positive learning environment
