Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy options for K-12 students
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other specialists to ensure coordinated intervention
- Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, progress, and service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development activities
