Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid SLP license in the state of Connecticut
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but strong new graduates with CCC will be considered
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based interventions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments as part of the special education team
  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services—both individually and in group settings
  • Maintain accurate, legal documentation of student progress and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to maximize student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school activities as appropriate
