A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Danbury, CT, serving a 5th and 6th grade caseload within a school setting. This contract position is onsite and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The role is ideal for SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or those with school-based experience.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP credential with CCC or CFY status
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly 5th and 6th graders
  • Familiarity with school-based speech and language therapy services
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families

Location:

  • Danbury, Connecticut
  • Onsite within a school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to 5th and 6th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Conduct assessments and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) as part of the mentorship component
