Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP licensure for Connecticut or eligibility for state licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Passion for working with school-aged children and collaborates effectively with educators, parents, and support teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support students’ educational goals and ensure IEP compliance
• Write thorough evaluations and progress reports, maintaining accurate records
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a key member of the student support team
• Communicate with families to provide updates on progress and offer resources as needed
