School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Danbury, Connecticut

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLP-CCC required
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
• Skilled in administering evaluations and developing individual therapy plans
• Confident in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and attending PPTs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fulfilling compensatory service requirements as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to a Pre-K caseload (currently 14, with potential to grow)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate actively in PPT meetings, contributing insights and strategies
• Work closely with educators and families to maximize student progress
• Track progress and adjust interventions as student needs evolve
• Complete compensatory services when necessary
