School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Danielson, Connecticut

This full-time contract opportunity welcomes both Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) ready to foster positive change and teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold valid state licensure or certification (SLP or SLPA)
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEPs, communication disorders, and therapy best practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic and social success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students, individually or in small groups, according to IEPs or 504 plans
• Assess, diagnose, and monitor students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement effective intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture through active engagement and communication
