Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as an SLP or SLPA, or eligibility in Connecticut
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of current therapy techniques and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
