Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an SLP or SLPA, or eligibility in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of current therapy techniques and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
