This position is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as SLP Assistants (SLPAs) when appropriate supervision can be arranged. The role is located near Danville, CA, and offers the chance to make a real difference for learners at a pivotal stage in their academic journey.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state license as an SLP (CCC required) or SLPA (when supervision is available)
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, individualized education planning, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication with students, families, and colleagues
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for fostering student progress and engagement

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students
  • Deliver engaging direct therapeutic services to students in various school settings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support speech-language needs
  • Maintain organized, timely records and documentation
  • Support ESY (Extended School Year) services and continue care into the regular school year
  • Provide supervision to SLPAs as needed, ensuring fidelity of services
