Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid and current SLP licensure (state and ASHA certification required).
• Previous experience, or a passion for working with K-12 populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to student progress.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize diverse needs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs.
• Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to support student outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress reports.
• Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies and techniques.
