Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP licensure (state and ASHA certification required).
- Previous experience, or a passion for working with K-12 populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to student progress.
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize diverse needs efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs.
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to support student outcomes.
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and progress reports.
- Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies and techniques.
