Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Dardanelle, AR

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work in partnership with a dynamic team serving pediatric students. This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules during the current and upcoming school years. Candidates with a background in school-based pediatric care or those just starting their clinical fellowship will find this position both rewarding and supportive.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Active or eligible to obtain an Arkansas license for Speech Language Pathology Assistants
• Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but not required
• Competence with assessments, treatment planning, and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with helping to develop and implement IEPs, or a desire to learn quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to adapt to varying caseload ages and preferences

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting licensed SLPs in assessment, treatment, and therapy session implementation
• Supporting the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Participating in meetings and contributing to student reports and progress notes
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Ensuring timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school policy
• Continuing professional growth through learning opportunities provided
