Ideal qualifications include:

  • Active or pending Arkansas licensure as an SLPA, or eligibility to apply
  • Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and documentation processes
  • Enthusiasm for pediatrics and working with school-aged children
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist SLPs with individualized assessments, treatment sessions, data collection, and progress monitoring
  • Document session notes and help develop reports in compliance with IEP goals
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Support both direct therapy and the preparation of therapy materials
