A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work in partnership with a dynamic team serving pediatric students. This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules during the current and upcoming school years. Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Active or eligible to obtain an Arkansas license for Speech Language Pathology Assistants
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but not required
- Competence with assessments, treatment planning, and accurate documentation
- Familiarity with helping to develop and implement IEPs, or a desire to learn quickly
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload ages and preferences
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting licensed SLPs in assessment, treatment, and therapy session implementation
- Supporting the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participating in meetings and contributing to student reports and progress notes
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Ensuring timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school policy
- Continuing professional growth through learning opportunities provided
