Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students in a warm, onsite school environment, serving a caseload of approximately 25-35 children. The assignment runs from mid-August 2026 through early June 2027, offering the chance to build strong relationships and positively impact early childhood communication development.

Ideal candidates bring their expertise and passion for helping children reach their expressive and receptive language goals, and are excited to work onsite alongside a supportive education team. Professionals from out of state are encouraged to apply if willing to pursue California licensure.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license; strong candidates from out-of-state backgrounds are welcome to apply if prepared to obtain California credentials
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in a school setting with young children, ideally PreK and Kindergarten populations
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Dedication to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive support
  • Offer guidance and training to school personnel regarding communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with relevant educational standards
