Experience an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in an engaging, school-based setting. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for an SLP passionate about making a difference by providing hands-on intervention and assessment. Starting August 12, 2026, and running through June 4, 2027, this contract position offers the opportunity to replace virtual SLPs and deliver in-person services to a vibrant student population.

You’ll provide itinerant support across various school sites, with caseload assignments tailored to your background and interests. As the go-to onsite communication specialist, your expertise will help students reach essential milestones and fully participate in classroom life.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current, valid California SLP license and certification (CCC required)
  • School-based experience preferred, servicing K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for work with diverse student populations
  • Ability to travel between school sites as an itinerant SLP
  • Experienced in assessment, therapy, collaboration with educators and families
  • Commitment to full-time, onsite work (no virtual/remote opportunities)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy and evaluation services to assigned K-12 caseload
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Maintain responsive and timely communication with teachers, families, and staff
  • Travel throughout assigned schools to provide itinerant services
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
