Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Davis, IL

Make a real impact supporting students in a school-based contract role working with elementary-aged children. This position offers the opportunity to use your speech-language pathology expertise in a collaborative, student-centered setting, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 6, 2025.

In this full-time position, you'll provide services at a single elementary school working 37.5 hours per week. Your skills will help students communicate more effectively, fostering both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP services
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to develop IEPs, work with diverse student populations, and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and caregivers regarding student needs and supports
• Adapt therapy strategies for in-person or teletherapy as needed
