Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, including IEP process familiarity
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students requiring speech and language support
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
