Serving approximately 8-10 hours per week over two days, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, ensuring each student receives tailored intervention and support.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision
  • Experience working within a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a flexible, part-time schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students exhibiting speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document and report on student progress, keeping accurate records and meeting compliance requirements
  • Develop engaging therapy plans and adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Provide consultative support and resources to the educational staff and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative problem solving
