School Speech Language Pathologist - Davison, Michigan

Bring your expertise as an SLP to a highly collaborative and supportive educational setting serving students in a close-knit community near Davison, MI. This full-time, onsite contract role runs through June 2027 and will allow you to make a significant impact across four neighboring schools—each day dedicated to one school, providing a balanced workload and minimal travel. The caseload includes approximately 10 students per site, primarily general education students with speech needs, as well as those with mild learning, spectrum, or cognitive differences. You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse group ranging from preschool to high school, supporting growth in communication and language skills across age levels.

Qualifications:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and provide both direct and consultative speech/language services
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech/language assessments and evaluations
• Create and manage IEP goals for students with identified needs
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational and professional standards
