Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving local schools as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This position extends until June 2027, providing ample time to make a real difference in students’ communication and academic achievements.
You’ll work onsite, rotating among four conveniently located schools (one per day, no back-and-forth travel). The caseload includes approximately ten students at each site—some from general education with speech needs, others with mild cognitive differences or on the autism spectrum. You’ll have the chance to build lasting relationships and provide targeted support, all within a manageable student load.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP certification
- Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Prior experience working with children in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Compassion, adaptability, and dedication to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to support communication goals
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports
- Participate in professional development as required
