Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Davison, MI

Make a meaningful impact by supporting early learners as a contract speech-language pathologist for the upcoming school years. This onsite opportunity focuses on serving an early childhood/preschool population, fostering vital communication skills in young students. You'll play a critical role in helping children thrive in an educational setting dedicated to growth and development.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current SLP licensure, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in a school setting, especially with early childhood or preschool populations, highly preferred
• Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to commit to an onsite contract through June 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language needs of young students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, utilizing creative and engaging strategies tailored to early learners
• Provide direct and consultative services within the classroom and one-on-one settings
• Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource to parents, staff, and fellow team members regarding communication supports and intervention strategies
• Foster an inclusive, positive environment to encourage early student growth and success

This is a full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours per week) allowing you to devote focused attention to a single preschool program.
