Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging and collaborative school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students’ communication and language development in a diverse educational community. Working with a manageable caseload of 38-40, you'll provide onsite services to elementary, middle, and high school students, making a meaningful impact across multiple grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • State licensure for practice and Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification required (or eligibility)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to support each student’s academic success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and IEP updates
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies for students across a range of ages and abilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to assessments and planning
  • Educate and guide staff and families regarding student needs and progress
