Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are also encouraged
  • Experience working with school-aged children (Preschool through High School)
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, speech therapy interventions, and progress documentation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfortable providing both individual and group therapy sessions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and comprehensive evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear insights on student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and local requirements
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide ongoing support and education to staff and families regarding students’ speech and language needs
