Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to meet a variety of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Offer consultative services, professional insights, and advocacy for best educational practices
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
