Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to meet a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop tailored intervention plans
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Offer consultative services, professional insights, and advocacy for best educational practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
