School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Dearborn, Michigan

This contract opportunity centers around helping learners achieve their communication goals in a supportive school environment starting as soon as possible, with the assignment running on a flexible timeline. You’ll be working three days per week, offering the chance to deliver dedicated service while maintaining work-life balance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification
• Active or eligible state licensure for Michigan
• Experience supporting middle and/or high school students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable adapting therapy approaches for virtual (Voco) or in-person service as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language challenges
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
• Support students on caseload with both direct therapy and consultative services
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt therapy delivery to accommodate virtual or blended learning environments if applicable
