Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience in PreK and elementary school settings preferred
  • Understanding of intervention strategies for Abi VBD and other communication disorders
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services for PreK and elementary-aged children
  • Provide intervention and support for students with Abi VBD
  • Maintain thorough and compliant records to document student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote effective communication strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help set meaningful, measurable goals
