Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Dearborn, MI

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by ASHA
• Eligible for Michigan state licensure
• Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and goal writing
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across various grade levels
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
• Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation as required
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
