This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 educational setting in Dearborn, MI. The role is a full school year contract, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language challenges
- Implementing therapy sessions tailored to students' specific communication needs across K-12 grades
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in school settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong understanding of communication disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff
