School Speech Therapist - Dearborn, Michigan

This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 educational setting in Dearborn, MI. The role is a full school year contract, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language challenges
• Implementing therapy sessions tailored to students' specific communication needs across K-12 grades
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Experience working in school settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong understanding of communication disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff
