Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with IEPs, conducting evaluations, and data documentation
  • Familiarity with the Wayne RES MiStar system for electronic IEPs is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in post-secondary and preschool programs
  • Conduct and write evaluations, including preschool assessments
  • Lead or support IEP meetings and documentation
  • Implement individualized programs and progress monitoring
  • Facilitate preschool social communication groups
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
  • Effectively use electronic systems (MiStar) to document IEPs and student progress
  • Commit to a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 am–3:00 pm, from April through the end of the school year
