Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably within autism spectrum disorder (ASD) settings
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills essential for multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet a diverse range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to a caseload of about 25 elementary students, focusing on those in an ASD program
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans that foster communication growth and academic achievement
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize each student’s progress
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student growth and progress in compliance with school standards and regulations
