Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology practice
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting self-contained classrooms and managing diverse or intensive needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy services to students in four self-contained classrooms
  • Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with special educators, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure consistent progress and support across settings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Adjust strategies to support multiple needs, including nonverbal, language, social communication, and articulation goals
  • Support classroom staff with resources, training, and consultation as needed
