Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Eligible for or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
  • Experience or keen interest in pediatric and school-based SLP
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Michigan state licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Passion for empowering students and supporting their communication success in educational settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for upper elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver both direct and consultative SLP services in individual and group settings within the school day
