Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Eligible for or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Experience or keen interest in pediatric and school-based SLP
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Michigan state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Passion for empowering students and supporting their communication success in educational settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for upper elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver both direct and consultative SLP services in individual and group settings within the school day
