This contract opportunity welcomes both experienced SLPs holding CCCs and those pursuing their CFY. Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, supporting elementary-aged students—including those in self-contained classrooms. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster student communication skills and contribute to a positive, inclusive school experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Michigan state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Compassion for students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for elementary students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy in both general education and self-contained classroom settings
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
This contract assignment runs from August 22, 2026, through June 6, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll enjoy the chance to make visible progress with students while gaining valuable experience in an educational environment.
