Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Dearborn, Michigan

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in an educational setting near Dearborn, MI. This contract opportunity welcomes both experienced SLPs holding CCCs and those pursuing their CFY. Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, supporting elementary-aged students—including those in self-contained classrooms. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster student communication skills and contribute to a positive, inclusive school experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Michigan state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Compassion for students with diverse abilities and backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for elementary students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver therapy in both general education and self-contained classroom settings
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and district protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development

This contract assignment runs from August 22, 2026, through June 6, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll enjoy the chance to make visible progress with students while gaining valuable experience in an educational environment.
