Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Dearborn, Michigan

Preferred background and expertise:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials considered
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and elementary school settings
• Background in teletherapy is a plus
• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy for elementary-aged students
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations clearly
• Integrate both in-person and teletherapy delivery, dependent on assignment and needs
