With a caseload kept intentionally well below the state maximum, you'll have more time and focus to deliver personalized interventions and meaningful progress for each student. As an SLP, you'll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families to foster growth in communication abilities, while playing a leading role in shaping and executing effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in K-12 schools strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to serving diverse student populations

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations for eligibility and progress
  • Designing and implementing speech-language services in accordance with IEPs
  • Participating actively in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborating across school teams
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation
  • Engaging with families to support student outcomes
