The position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm, including an unpaid 30-minute lunch break daily and offering 32.5 hours per week. Your expertise will help students overcome speech, language, and communication challenges, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Michigan
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and progress for compliance purposes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input to support student learning
