Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Dedication to fostering growth and developmental progress in students

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Provide direct therapy services and document progress in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in the field
