Embark on a rewarding journey supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact throughout the entire school year, beginning August 13, 2026, and concluding on June 11, 2027. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, helping children achieve vital communication milestones in an encouraging and resource-rich environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar field
  • Valid SLP license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Passion for working with diverse elementary-age learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to elementary students
  • Deliver group and one-on-one interventions using evidence-based methods
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation per school and legal standards
  • Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for all students
