Speech Language Pathologist in Dearborn, MI

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Michigan
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Prior experience in a school setting or with elementary-aged students preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student academic and communication growth
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the IEP process
• Consult with educational staff on strategies for classroom success
• Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as appropriate
