School Speech Language Pathologist - Dearborn, MI

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Valid SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility)
• CCC-SLP certification highly preferred, but candidates in CFY will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of interventions for students on the autism spectrum
• Outstanding communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting elementary-level learners and working as part of an interdisciplinary team

In this important role, you will:

• Complete comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and set goals for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Provide direct speech and language therapy using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy into the school day
• Maintain detailed progress notes and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
• Offer consultative support and classroom strategies to maximize student success and inclusion
