Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC credentials
  • Valid Michigan state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work across multiple elementary sites and adapt to diverse caseloads

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students
  • Manage a caseload within three elementary buildings (serving approximately 50 students), or focus on one site with a dedicated caseload of 47 students
  • Provide intensive support for students within an FCIS (Functional Classroom for Intensive Support) program
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop and implement IEPs, assess student needs, track progress, and support students in achieving communication goals
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student development
  • Document services, prepare progress reports, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
