What you bring:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP role
  • Strong understanding of developing and implementing IEPs
  • Commitment to inclusivity and adapting to a wide range of student needs
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to a caseload of 30–40 elementary students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEPs
  • Document progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Partner with classroom teachers and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records per district and state requirements
  • Communicate clearly with families, providing guidance and updates on student success
  • Promote a positive, empowering atmosphere within the school community

Contract details:

  • School year position, beginning ASAP and extending through mid-June 2027
  • 32.5 hours per week, fully onsite
  • Collaborate with an engaged, student-centered team
