What you bring:
- Active Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP role
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing IEPs
- Commitment to inclusivity and adapting to a wide range of student needs
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to a caseload of 30–40 elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEPs
- Document progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Partner with classroom teachers and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records per district and state requirements
- Communicate clearly with families, providing guidance and updates on student success
- Promote a positive, empowering atmosphere within the school community
Contract details:
- School year position, beginning ASAP and extending through mid-June 2027
- 32.5 hours per week, fully onsite
