School Speech Language Pathologist - Dearborn, MI

As a valued teletherapist, you’ll collaborate with on-site staff, including a proctor dedicated to facilitating your virtual sessions. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote therapy, leveraging evidence-based approaches to support students’ speech and language development. Preference may be given to professionals who have prior experience in Michigan schools and have already completed the required fingerprint process.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current, valid SLP licensure in Michigan.
• Experience delivering teletherapy services, preferably in a school-based setting.
• Prior work in Michigan schools and completion of fingerprinting strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Capability to create engaging, individualized virtual therapy sessions.
• Commitment to best practices in documentation, IEP meetings, and goal monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs using secure teletherapy platforms.
• Liaise with school staff, families, and the on-site proctor to coordinate services efficiently.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Track student progress, write reports, and participate in virtual or in-person IEP meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation and adhere to all school policies.
