What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Alabama Educator SLP certification (or eligibility; can start with certification pending)
- Demonstrated experience conducting student therapy and evaluations in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children achieve communication and educational milestones
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for students
- Caseload will not exceed 60 students, ensuring focused, individualized support
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Serve across select schools, with specific roles available for both base and split campus assignments
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing communication and progress updates with staff and families
