Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience in a school environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and faculty
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments to students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational objectives
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school protocols
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention in group and/or individual settings
  • Offer consultative services and resources to staff and caregivers
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments as necessary
