Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in the state of placement
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
  • Provide direct therapeutic services, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Document student progress meticulously and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Educate school personnel and caregivers on strategies to promote speech and language development
  • Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development
