Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Georgia SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates eagerly considered
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcomed
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities for working with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students in grades Pre-K through 12
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress reports, and required student records
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, IEP conferences, and student support planning sessions
• Serve as a collaborative resource to teachers and school staff to integrate speech-language strategies in the classroom
• Provide parent education and support to foster generalization of communication skills at home and in the community
