School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Decatur, Georgia

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required to start; both needed eventually)
• Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or fully credentialed Speech-Language Associates (SLAs) with GAPSC certification
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Ability to adapt to a variety of assignments and caseloads as school needs are finalized

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services for students across assigned schools, focusing on communication, articulation, language, voice, and fluency
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and administrators to ensure optimal student support
• Provide progress updates, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage families in the therapy process and provide strategies for classroom and at-home success

This contract offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) from July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027, all onsite.
