Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required to start; plan to obtain both)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLP Assistants with GaPSC certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required if Clinical Fellow
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Duties:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, following IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support conferences as needed
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state protocols
