8th Grade 7th Grade School Speech Language Pathologist - Decatur, Georgia

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP credentials and eligibility for licensure
• Experience serving Pre K through 12th grade students
• Comfortable working onsite in school settings and, for some roles, traveling between locations
• Familiarity with documenting services in Paddynet (preferred)
• Proficient in scheduling and calendar coordination using Google Calendar, including organizing IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Skilled at maintaining strong communication with parents, teachers, administration, and support staff via email, phone, and school communication systems
• Capable of completing and documenting comprehensive evaluations, eligibilities, IEPs, and data reviews

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to a diverse student population across a range of grade levels, including elementary, middle, and compensatory instruction
• Manage caseloads of approximately 45 to 55 students per assignment
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in the Paddynet platform
• Facilitate productive collaboration with teachers, administration, and families to support student progress
• For compensatory services positions, provide itinerant support at multiple school locations with travel required, ensuring all identified needs are met
• Elementary and middle school assignments may be based at a single school for consistency
