Step into a dynamic role providing essential speech and language services to elementary students in grades K-5. This contract opportunity promises a fulfilling experience working with students, educators, and families to support language development and academic growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred
- Strong understanding of language, articulation, and fluency disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals and needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions within the school environment
- Consult regularly with teachers and families to ensure progress and promote carryover of strategies
- Document student progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights and expertise to the support team
