School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Decatur, Mississippi

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 school year. In this role, you will play an essential part in helping children reach their full communication potential and achieve academic success. Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong interpersonal communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Comfortable conducting both individual and group therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with mild to moderate communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
• Offer strategies and resources to classroom staff and parents for generalization of skills
