Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support early learners at a beautifully appointed, well-managed Early Childhood Education Center serving Pre-K through kindergarten. This contract role is designed to cover a medical leave, starting as soon as possible and extending through December, with flexible FTE between .5 and .8 based on your availability.

Your work will center on a small caseload of approximately 15 students, allowing you to focus deeply on making a difference in the lives of young children as they develop foundational communication skills. Both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, and candidates with hands-on experience in early childhood or Pre-K settings will truly shine in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status
  • Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for preschool and kindergarten populations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in early childhood or Pre-K environments highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for early learners
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff within a team-oriented, well-staffed center
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation to track student progress
  • Engage families in their child’s communication development and provide resources as needed
