The assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing you the chance to see the positive impact of your work throughout the school year. If you’re up-to-date with therapy and testing, enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule: both on-site and virtual therapy, allowing meaningful engagement with your caseload of 65-70 students while maintaining work-life balance.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and eligibility for school-based SLP roles
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver both in-person and virtual therapy based on hybrid scheduling guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with staff and families, and support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and ethical standards
This full-time position features a Monday through Friday schedule (7:30-4:00 or 8:00-4:30) and the rewarding experience of changing lives every day.
