Step into a rewarding contract position providing speech-language pathology services to support students' communication needs. This full-time opportunity is available immediately through the end of the school year, with a focus on delivering care at the elementary level, along with select responsibilities at the secondary level, particularly within specialized classroom settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold (or be eligible for) ASHA certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Understanding of IEP procedures and school-based therapy
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary education teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students and assist in specialized secondary units as needed
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive assessment reports
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of services
- Contribute to a positive, supportive educational environment for students with diverse needs
