Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC or in Clinical Fellowship; SLPAs and virtual applicants are not eligible)
• Previous experience working with K-12 learners is highly valued
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention of speech and language disorders
• Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and families
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic school settings
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students identified with communication disorders
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations as required by student needs and district guidelines
• Develop and document targeted treatment plans and progress notes
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams, including participation in IEP meetings
• Support student progress through direct services, consultation, and ongoing assessment
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student communication
