Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in Volusia County, Florida! We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for immediate part-time openings at Taylor Middle High in Pierson and Hinson Middle in Daytona. These positions begin August 4, 2026, and continue through May 28, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will work on-site and collaborate with students, teachers, and support staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services.
Qualified candidates will hold a current Florida SLP license and be passionate about student communication and academic development. This is not a virtual role—on-site presence is required. We welcome Clinical Fellows (CFs) and ensure excellent supervision to foster professional growth. Please note, SLPAs and virtual candidates cannot be considered for these opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as Clinical Fellow
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
- Ability to fulfill contract dates from August 2026 through May 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting per district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the student support team
- Deliver services in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
