Make an immediate impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a rewarding contract role. This position, conveniently located near Delano, CA, offers a chance to work flexible day hours within an engaging school environment through the end of the 2025-2026 academic year.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children and teens achieve their communication goals. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families, delivering both individual and group services to address speech, language, and social-communication needs.

What you'll bring:

  • Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification
  • Experience or strong interest serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based speech and language interventions
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Assess and identify students' communication strengths and needs
  • Develop, monitor, and revise therapy goals and intervention plans
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed

Position highlights:

  • Full-time, contract position
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 3:15 pm (7.5 hours/day)
  • Start as soon as possible and continue through May 29, 2026
