Middle School Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - Delano, California

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP license and appropriate certification
• Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate therapy plans

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals focused on communication
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and group settings
• Partner with teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies within the classroom
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for home reinforcement

Contract Details:

• Immediate start date, running through May 29, 2026
• Full school days: 7.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday
• Daily schedule: 7:30 am to 3:15 pm
