Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California SLP licensure and credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a supportive team member
- Passion for helping students build confidence and classroom skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's strengths and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multi-disciplinary team
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
